Choice of Templates
Our award winning web designers have created a diverse range of wedding website templates for you to choose from. If you want to change your mind at any stage, you can simply log into your administration area and change the template. This will not incur any further costs, and the information will be transferred to the new template in seconds.
Add New Pages to your Site
When you log in you can see a few key pages that we think are must-haves for any wedding website - however you have the freedom to add further pages to the navigation if you wish to. Typical pages people like to add include:
- Hen night
- Stag night
- Wedding list
- Page with useful info on parking, charities to donate to, gift ideas, pictures and links of local hotels/accommodation
- How we met
- The Honeymoon
- Itinerary for the day, seating plans, menu's.
- The proposal/engagement party
Upload Menus, Wedding Lists and other useful documents
Every wedding website comes with a document library where you can upload any attachments that you want to display to your guests. Sometimes you'll be sent information and documents from the wedding venue, reception venue, etc that you don't really want to rewrite for the site - so you can simply upload them directly to the library and then pick which documents to attach to each page you create on the site. Typical documents you will probably come across include wedding lists, venue directions, seating plans, itinerary for the day, brochure leaflets for hen or stag parties. You can upload MS Word documents, PDFs and Excel spreadsheets.
Integrated Venue Map
Enter multiple locations on your interactive map so your guests can find the wedding venue, reception venue or anywhere else you might need them to be. You could even add the pub you're meeting at for the Hen or Stag night! Click on any pin on the map to see a bubble with the location's address and postcode - which makes it easy to put it straight into the SatNav.
Online RSVP form
Once you've sent out your wedding invitations, your guests can click directly through to your wedding website and complete the simple RSVP form, which will then be sent to your email account.
Photo Gallery
Any photos added to your wedding website will appear in your main wedding gallery. You can then pick certain pictures to appear on certain pages, e.g. pictures of the church for a venue page or engagement party pictures on the engagement party page - and still allow them to be found in the main gallery area. The images can be uploaded in any common image format (jpeg, gif, bmp and png). The process is quick and simple; all you need to ensure is the image you are uploading is no more than around 1MB in size.
Secure Website Login
When you sign up for your very own wedding website you'll be asked to supply a suitable username and password. Once payment has been approved and your account has been activated, this username and password will give you access to your very own content-managed wedding website. If you forget your password, click on the "Forgotten? Remind me" link to receive the correct information via your email.
Your Own Wedding Web Address
When you set up your Big White Frock account you will be asked to personalise your wedding website by choosing a web address for it. Most people use their names, e.g. bigwhitefrock.co.uk/alanandsarah or something similar. If the name already exists (say, if another alanandsarah are using Big White Frock) then you'll have to choose something else to personalise your site.
Site Live for 12 months
To maximise the opportunity to inform, update and involve your friends and family before, during and after the event, your wedding website will remain live for a full 12 months. You will receive an email 1 month before deactivation reminding you that the site is due to expire, and to offer you the option of extending the period by a further 12 months at a cost of £80/$120.
